Informartion about lung cancer treatment

A human colon is a muscular tubular organ measuring four feet long, extending from one end of small bowel to anus. The main function of this organ are it digest food and absorbs nutrients, it aslo stores and controls evacuation of fecal material. It has a right part and left part. the right part absorbs water where as the left side stores and evacuates stool.

Usually cancer of colon involves the adjacent lymph nodes and organs, from where it spreads to liver, lungs and brain. Most of them involve rectum hence known as colorectal cancer. It produces abdominal pains and blood in the stool is seen. Diarrhea, constipation and anemia are the common symptoms of the colon cancer.

colon cancer treatment includes chemotherapy, surgical removal of the cancerous part and radiation therapy that destroys cancerous cells. Depending upon the stage of cancer treatment plan differ.

Metastatic cancer to the lungs is common; it spreads from other organs to lungs. Lung cancer is the dangerous of all cancers, maximum number of deaths occur each year because of lung cancer. Apart from metastatic it occurs due to cigarette smoking, air pollution, asbestos inhaling, family history etc.

The symptoms are cough, difficulty in breathing, chest pain, wheezing, loss of weight and many other symptoms as well. lung cancer treatment is same as colon cancer. It requires chemotherapy, surgical excision of cancer and lastly radiation therapy.
